We are happy to announce that the government of Georgia has lifted the restrictions which were imposed on notarial activities with regards to international surrogacy and IVF. Last year, due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Ministry of Justice of Georgia temporarily limited the power of notaries to notarize surrogacy-related contracts. However, the restrictions are no longer in force.
From now on, we are continuing to provide surrogacy, egg donation, and IVF services to international patients without any legal difficulties. Georgian legislation has been supporting international surrogacy since 1992 making the country an ideal destination for couples around the world to pursue their dreams of parenthood.
Restrictions related to COVID-19 are no longer a problem for those who are seeking for fertility treatment abroad. With its surrogacy-friendly legislation, eased travel policy, hospitality, breathtaking nature, outstanding cuisine, and affordable and advanced fertility treatment services, Georgia welcomes international patients who are willing to start their surrogacy journey.
At Medvisit Global, we say NO to infertility!
