• Take care of yourself. Most importantly, maintaining healthy body is a key to a successful surrogacy journey. It is essential to consume nutritious food, get plenty of rest and follow your doctor’s instructions. Try to avoid risky behavior that can possibly put your health under risk.
• Stay in touch with your surrogacy agency. Open and honest communication is essential when it comes to this journey. Do not hesitate to reach out to your surrogate professionals if you have any questions or concerns. Keep in mind that no one will judge you for unexpected circumstances. If you experience challenges on the way, your surrogacy agency is there to support. Not only your physical but also emotional health is crucial.
• Try to involve intended parents. Considering the frequency and amount of contact you agreed to share with the intended parents, do your best to keep them informed and updated. You can invite them to doctor’s appointments, ultrasound checks, family dinner or share leisure activities with them.  
• Get the baby ready for emotional transfer. Babies’ sense of hearing has one of the biggest roles when it comes to parental bonding. You can prepare the baby to bond with intended parents by letting them to talk to the baby during your pregnancy. It is also a good idea to ask the intended parents what kinds of music they listen to so that you can play the same music in order for the baby to adopt his/her new home environment.
