It has been claimed that COVID-19 vaccine contains proteins that are used to make placenta. Headlines have suggested that this could make the body attack the placenta. According to Covid: Claims vaccinations harm fertility unfounded "this is not true - the vaccine does contain a protein which slightly resembles one used in the development of the placenta but it's not similar enough to confuse the body."
