On March 13, 2021 Georgia received first batch of covid vaccines. 43,200 doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine were delivered by COVAX facility. The rollout is planned to begin on March 15, 2021. 

According to UNICEF, the next delivery of 86,400 doses will take place in April.

In total, Georgia is expected to receive 129,600 doses of Astrazenece/Oxford vaccines and 29,250 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines. 

According to stopcov.ge, there are 274 721 confirmed coronavirus cases in Georgia out of which 268 004 recovered and 3 643 had fatal outcome.
