Surrogate mothers have an incredible responsibility in each intended parent’s journey to parenthood. At Medvisit Global we have developed our process of recruitments for our surrogate mother candidates.  We make sure that the recruited surrogate mother is physically and emotionally healthy and ready to commit to the entire process.  We offer comprehensive screening services of our surrogate mother candidates to ensure the right ones are recruited for the surrogacy programs.

There are a lot of women who express their interest in becoming a surrogate mother, although not all of them can be selected.

The surrogate screening process incudes comprehensive medical and psychological evaluation and examination. The aim of the initial screening process is to ensure that the surrogate mother candidate is healthy enough to carry a pregnancy.

Throughout the screening process we ensure that the Surrogate Mother candidates meet certain criteria, such as:

• Be within a certain age range  ( 21 to 40 years old)
• Have a healthy BMI
• No smoking or drug/alcohol use
• Have at least one prior successful pregnancy
• No major complications from previous pregnancies (no history of serious pregnancy, delivery or post-partum complications)
• Have a limited number of previous Cesarean births
• No history of mental illness
• Having stable support system
• No criminal background
• Having family support  (family, partner , friends)
• Having  a stable residence
• Be willing to undergo psychological and medical assessments
• Be willing to follow doctor recommendations
• Be willing to take medications and undergo medical procedures
• Be willing to attend appointments

Our Surrogate Mother Coordinator is the key contact person for our surrogate mothers. She is available for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support the surrogate mothers and guide them in the process. Our Pregnancy Care Coordinator ensures that the pregnancy goes smoothly, surrogate mother attends regular medical check-ups and follows doctor’s instructions. Intended parents are provided monthly medical reports with details for their full awareness.
